Charlotte Farrish and Robert Sheran Named "Most Influential Lawyers"

Charlotte Farrish and Robert Sheran, two former members of Farrish Johnson Law Office, were named two of the most influential lawyers in the history of the State of Minnesota by Minnesota Law and Politics Magazine in 2007.

“Charlotte Farrish and Robert Sheran, formerly of Farrish Johnson Law Office have been named as two of the 100 most influential lawyers in the history of the State of Minnesota by Minnesota law and Politics Magazine.

Charlotte Farrish (1904-1995) practiced from 1926 to 1989, and was one of the first women to establish a successful law practice in Minnesota. Farrish attended the University of Minnesota Law School and graduated in 1926 at the age of 21.

Robert Sheran practiced with the firm from 1945 to 1963, when he was appointed to the Minnesota Supreme Court. Sheran was appointed twice to Minnesota’s highest Court.”

Named Super Lawyers by Minnesota Law & Politics Magazine

Scott V. Kelly and William S. Patridge, attorneys with Farrish Johnson Law Office, have been named "Super Lawyers" by the Minnesota Law & Politics Magazine for the eighth straight year. The designation as "Super Lawyer" recognizes them as among the top 5% of lawyers in Minnesota.

Will and Scott are Mankato Trial Lawyers practicing in the areas of Minnesota Business and Minnesota Commercial Litigation, Minnesota General Negligence and Minnesota Personal Injury. Both are certified as civil trial specialists by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the Minnesota State Bar Association.

Scott has extensive experience in the complex litigation matters ranging from medical/legal matters, electrical accidents, construction litigation, wrongful death claims and business and commercial litigation. He was appointed by the Minnesota Supreme Court to the General Rules of Practice Committee. Scott was active in the Mankato community serving on numerous boards.

Will has been practicing law for 28 years. His practice is now limited to civil and commercial litigation, including personal injury, professional liability, general negligence and insurance issues. Will was appointed by the Minnesota Supreme Court to serve as the Chair of the Sixth District Ethics Committee. He also strongly believes in the necessity of providing legal services to those in financial need.

Farrish Johnson Law Office welcomes Randy Knutson as a new partner to their firm. Randy practices in the area of personal injury, concentrating primarily on automobile and truck litigation.

Randy is highly regarded by his clients and others in the profession for his knowledge, dedication, and compassion, particularly in difficult personal injury cases.

A member of the American Association for Justice and the Minnesota Association for Justice, Randy has practiced law for more than 14 years. Randy obtained his juris doctorate from Hamline University in 1992, graduating cum laude.

Randy is certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association as a Civil Trial Specialist, and is a member of the American Association for Justice Commercial Trucking Litigation group. He has successfully tried, settled, and mediated more than one thousand cases throughout Minnesota and the surrounding states.

JASON KOHLMEYER

Jason Kohlmeyer is a 2000 graduate from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota and focuses his practice on only three areas, Criminal Defense, Family law and Civil Litigation. He is licensed in Minnesota, the Federal District of Minnesota, the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

Over the years, Mr. Kohlmeyer has been recognized for his ability as a trial attorney. In 2002, he was named a "Top 10 Up and Coming Attortney" by Minnesota Lawyer; a “Star of the Quarter” by the American Bar Association-Young Lawyer Division; and a "Rising Star" by Minnesota Law & Pollitics for the past six years. Jason has  been identified as having both very high ethical standards and legal ability.

A frequent speaker, he has spoken nationally and in Canada, appearing at the American Association for Justice's (formally ATLA) nation convention as well as various American Bar Association, Minnesota Bar Association and Minnesota Continuing Legal Education seminars as well as private groups.

Mr. Kohlmeyer is a graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy's Trial Skill Course, is designatedas an "Advocate" by the National Trial Institute, and is one of the very few criminal defense attorneys in Minnesota who is also certified as an Intoxilyzer 5000 operator.

Mr. Kohlmeyer is a former intelligence analyst and infantryman in the U.S. Army Reserves/Minnesota Army National Guard who lives with his wife and children in North Mankato, Minnesota.
